Make it stand out
This project involves the design and production of an artist book inspired by a specific film, focusing on the reinterpretation of three key scenes through a carefully curated selection of the film’s original script. The book explores the relationship between visual storytelling and textual rhythm, using expressive typography not only as a means of communication but also as an artistic device that mirrors the emotional and narrative pacing—whether fast, slow, tense, or contemplative.
A unique feature of this project is the format: the artist book is presented through a series of custom-designed cassette tapes, transforming a nostalgic audio medium into a tactile and conceptual art object. Each cassette serves as a chapter or scene, with the printed script integrated into the physical casing or accompanying fold-out inserts. The use of cassette tapes as the book format reinforces themes of memory, time, and analog intimacy, creating an immersive and interactive reading experience that invites the viewer to engage with the film in a new way.
